5EBI training courses are held twice a year. The course is designed to cover all aspects of announcing and technical skills to be able to present radio programs on 5EBI.
The full training course is conducted over 10 weeks plus final assessment. It consists of 1 evening session per week, which goes about 2.5 hours and at least 1 homework practise per week. Practices are done in your own time, before the next lesson and are assessed for competence.
Successful participants receive a 5EBI Certificate of Achievement and are able to present a program at 5EBI.
They will also get a Statement of Attainment for these Units of

• CUSSOU202A - Mix Sound in a Broadcasting Environment
• CUECOR01C - Manage Own Work and Learning
• CUFAIR201A - Develop Techniques for Presenting Information on Radio
Radio Adelaide is the registered Training Organisation (Provider 2242)
responsible for this course meeting the national standards, and for
issuing the parchments
